When you download AVG antivirus, it comprises of an internet browser toolbar that settles the home page of your search engine to iSearch.avg.com and may change the browser as well.

- First of all, open Google Chrome browser on your computer by double-clicking on its icon. Make sure the system is connected to the internet.
- Navigate to the top-right corner of the window where three vertical dots are visible to you. When you click on it, a long list of options will appear on the screen.
- Click on More Tools. It will be further extended to a list, select Extensions.
- This will open a new tab on your browser where a list of all installed extensions will be visible.
- Locate the name of iSearch AVG extension from the window. Scroll down the page if it is not visible until you found the extension of AVG.
- Now, remove it by clicking on the trash icon located beside the name of this tool.
- Move back to the Options menu (three vertical dots) and click on Settings to make further changes.
- Scroll down the page and locate Search Header, click on the down arrow button located beside it. This will show you a complete list of search engines that you can use with Chrome. Select the appropriate one and set it as default.
- Finally, just restart the web browser by closing it and then again launching it.
